PERPS / ACCOUNTING DEMO

Two sides.
Every unit accounted for.

See how a long and a short settle, what happens when a price gaps, and where an insurance payout comes from.

DEMO · Synthetic funds only. This is a guided simulation, not a live exchange. All accounts, prices and balances are fictional. No deposits or blockchain transactions.

02 / THE MODEL

No payout without a source.

Each scenario creates two test accounts with 200 SIM_USDC each. Each locks 50 units of isolated margin against one fictional unit at an entry price of 100. Entry notional is 2× margin; entry and closing fees are 0.05% each.

01

Two funded counterparties

The long and short are matched. In this research model, closing settles both sides together. Independent exits and public order matching are future work.

02

Gaps can exhaust collateral

The two first examples start with 100 synthetic insurance units. The insolvency example starts with zero; its claim remains unpaid until new test capital is explicitly added.

03

Examples, not trading results

These are predetermined engine outputs, not live prices, strategy returns or user balances. SIM_USDC has no monetary value. There is no wallet connection or real withdrawal in this demo.

03 / INSPECT THE NUMBERS

Follow the accounting.
